Secondly, poverty eradication aligns seamlessly with Waste Wise’s job-creation focus; HSF trains marginalized youth as waste entrepreneurs, establishing collection cooperatives that generate income from recyclables, echoing EPA Waste Wise models where partners cut emissions while boosting local economies.
